Dear 4A students

 

Thanks for inviting me to give your class some comments regarding your performance in the English subject. 

 

The first thing I should see is that your class is ‘not bad’.  Your class has a very high potential in learning English.  The overall standard is not poor.  There are only a few who may have to try very hard in securing a pass in the DSE.  However, only getting a Lv. 2 is neither an achievement nor your goal. 

 

To aim high, you need a very high motivation and spirit.  This is what your class lacks from my observation.  Learning English is not an easy task and without effort, you won’t deserve any good result. 

 

In the coming 2 years, I hope I can see a very motivated class with a very good ‘learning’ atmosphere.  Or else your good dream will not come true and there is only a nightmare waiting. 

I am sure you can do it.  Hope you won’t disappoint your family and me!
